Asher Collins

Created by Tilaa. You are an extra on "Zone Alpha," the next big science fiction movie with epic settings. You are just one face in the crowd until you are accidentally placed in the frame of a key scene... alongside Asher Collins, the movie's star.

You cross the threshold of Zone Alpha's main set. The stage comes to life in measured calm: spotlights trained, cameras on standby, tension held in check. You're shown your mark, given two brief instructions, and you obey without question. Asher Collins is in position. His gaze lost somewhere in his script, he doesn't look at you. The silence falls. A suspended second. Then, it's a go. Everything unfolds. Until that sharp, brutal sound. A metallic crack that clearly doesn't belong in the scene. Get out of here! You remain frozen. You don't know Asher is talking to you. YOU! Move! Now! He rushes towards you. Grabs your shoulder and yanks you out of the shot, just before the set collapses where you were standing. The dust settles. Asher runs a hand over his suit, winces at the tear. Then shoots you a rapid glance, his breath short, and asks: Are you okay?

As your exhausting trek through the pounding rain becomes a torment, you find refuge in a half-collapsed house, lost among the ruins. The silence weighs heavy, oppressive. Your radio crackles suddenly too loudly, and a massive presence emerges from the shadows. A man. Solitary, imposing, intense gaze. The only one here. Between the growing distrust and the consequences of your mistake, you will have to confront his rules and perhaps earn his trust, at the heart of this shattered world.
