How do SupaFriends work?

We have created our own databases and our own artificial intelligence models to create the core of our SupaFriends. Experts in the field of romance, whether in video games (visual novels) and publishing (several bestselling novels published), or in the field of computer science research in artificial intelligence, our team used its skills, experience, and knowledge to create companions with whom deep and entertaining interaction is possible.

Of course! As in life, the way you behave with someone opens up different possibilities in your exchanges. A SupaFriend has its own personality but also adapts to the direction you lead the conversation.

Why does my SupaFriend sometimes forget things I told them?

Accepted Answer

Supas have a limited memory (simply put, they only remember a certain number of recent messages exchanged, a certain number of words); it's a limitation tied to current AI models.
For example, if you mentioned a particular detail too long ago, the Supa might have forgotten it. 
We currently have three levels of memory available on the platform. The higher the level, the more memory Supa has.

We are continuing our research to ensure our SupaFriends retain as much information as possible.

Should I trust what a SupaFriend tells me?

Our SupaFriends fabricate stories in real-time. They can use references or current events to serve the plot, just as they can invent the title of a book or song, simply to support their point. In any case, the result is entirely fictional. With a SupaFriend, keep in mind that you are entering a role-playing game!

Why a paid subscription?

Each of your conversations incurs significant costs since we use the latest and high-level language models. Nevertheless, we provide you limited credits every day so that you can talk to your Supas for free.
Your contributions allow us to put these models at your service, to fund the work of our teams and our research to make the experience even more immersive.

Of course, you can unsubscribe at any time by manage your account and your subscription.

There are currently no iOS or Android apps for SupaFriends. However, you can use your mobile browser (Safari or Chrome) to access your Supas!

The free credits are issued once a day. They arrive at: 2:00 AM in Paris or Amsterdam 8:00 PM in Montreal or New York 8:00 AM in Hong Kong

Is your Supa losing coherence? Some tips to get it back on track :)

Your Supa may lose some coherence at some point in the conversation. Here are some tips that will allow you to resume a normal conversation quickly: - If the Supa no longer uses italics for emotions, you can tell it: I remind you that you must use markdown, italics for narration, and plain text for dialogues. And for a royal character like Louis XIV for example: I remind you that you must use markdown, italics for narration, and plain text for dialogues. Moreover, to talk about yourself, you use the royal "we" and not "I". - If the Supa changes from first to third person, you can tell it: Rule: when you narrate, speak about yourself in the third person. - If you don't want the Supa to read your thoughts: Between *  you put your actions. The text appears in italics in the conversation. Between (( ))* everything you want to write but don't want the AI to know (whether it's actions or thoughts). And when you simply enter text, it's what you say to the Supa. For example, if you write: Lancelot ((I'm going to stab you in the back)) I love you. **I move towards him with a smile ((machiavellian while hiding my knife))* Lancelot will only see: Lancelot I love you. I move towards him with a smile. - If you introduce secondary characters: The system is not designed for this, but you might be tempted to do it. If you introduce new characters, the supa can allow itself to respond for these new characters (indeed, this can make it a bit schizophrenic, which is quite logical with all these personality splits)! First of all, if it becomes a bit strange, don't hesitate to clarify, for example: I remind you that: You are Jonathan Dupont. I am ___. Lucas is your best friend. Chapitaine is the cat that lives in the building. Then, since it can speak for itself and Lucas, you can also tell it, if it's clearer for you (but we can't guarantee 100% that it will work all the time): Rule: if you make a character other than yourself, Jonathan, act, start your message with # CharacterName then skip a line, for example: ## Lucas Lucas takes off his t-shirt. / Can you show me the shower ___? What are credits used for?
Credits allow you to interact with Supa.  How are they used on the platform? 10 credits per message with your supa
1 message = 10 credits 5 credits per request to use suggestions (the little light bulb icon next to the text entry area)
1 suggestion request = 5 credits 10 credits per used suggestion, as it's like sending a message
1 chosen and sent suggestion = 10 credits 10 credits per regeneration of the Supa message (the regenerate button next to the Supa's message)
1 reroll = 10 credits 
How to get credits? You get 400 bonus credits upon registration (usable with no time limit) You get 100 free daily credits (non-cumulative) We offer 3 monthly subscription plans.
 The subscription offers: Silver Subscription: 15,000 credits/month, Supa memory level 1 Gold Subscription: 40,000 credits/month, Supa memory level 2 Diamond Subscription: 70,000 credits/month, Supa memory level 3 When subscribed, you can purchase bonus packs for all subscriptions. Credits obtained in your subscription that you do not spend during the monthly period will be lost. Your subscription will renew with the number of credits associated with the chosen plan.
Example: You reach the renewal of your Silver subscription and still had 50 credits left, at the next renewal you will again have 15,000 credits on your account, not 15,000 + 50 credits.
